Issue tracking that shows what's now, what's next and why.
Vector is an issue tracker for one business. New requests land in an intake queue where someone accepts, defers or declines them, and a Current page explains what needs attention and why.
What it does
- Triage incoming evidence with explicit accept, defer or decline decisions
- See a Current page that gives the reason each item is there
- Track issues with priority, estimate, due date, expected outcome and customer impact
- Plan with teams, projects, cycles, dependencies and a team board
- Comment, mention teammates, attach private files and keep an unchangeable activity history
- Search everything and jump around with a command palette and keyboard shortcuts
- Get an Inbox, due reminders, and email for assignments and mentions
- Link GitHub pull requests and connect with scoped API tokens
- Import issues from CSV, JSON, Jira or Linear after a review
What it promises
- INTAKE-007Declining a request needs a reason, and its evidence and decision history are kept.
- INTAKE-006A deferred item returns to the decision queue at the time you set, or sooner if new evidence arrives.
- CURR-006Every item on Current states why it is there, such as awaiting decision, overdue, or due this week.
- ISSUE-006If two people edit the same issue, the later save is rejected with the current version rather than overwriting the first.
- ISSUE-007Every change to an issue is recorded with the time, the old and new value and who did it, and cannot be changed afterwards.
- OPS-001Every operator can see and act on every team and issue; there are no roles, and team membership never restricts access.
- OPS-004Removing a person ends their sessions, hands their projects and shared views to you and keeps comments and history with their name removed.
- DATA-002An import is checked and reported before anything is written.
- DATA-001A full export carries every issue, comment, file, decision and setting, and never a sign-in or provider secret.
- API-001API tokens are shown once, have set scopes, can expire, and are checked on every request.
