Strap

What it does

• Add instructors and members and control what each can see
• Prepare and publish a week of classes with capacity and instructors
• Let members book with class-pack credits, with a waitlist when a class is full
• Return a credit on early cancellation and promote the first eligible waiting member
• Let instructors check attendees in
• Approve packs and record payments you received elsewhere, with balances and reminder text
• Have members acknowledge the current waiver
• Move in members from a Mindbody CSV, and back up, restore or erase unused people

What it promises

• Members can only book or cancel their own classes; instructors check in only their assigned classes; only the owner approves money or publication.
• Booking takes a seat and a credit together, and joining a waitlist spends no credit.
• Cancelling refunds the credit once and promotes the next eligible person in order.
• Payment records are receipts of money received elsewhere; Strap never charges a card.
• Each outside payment reference can be recorded only once.
• Agents can only prepare drafts for a person to approve.
• Revoking someone's access takes effect on their next request.
• A waiver acknowledgement records receipt of the exact version and is not a legal signature.

Run it yourself

Install the command once, then clone a product and start it.

No npm? curl -fsSL https://runeditrun.com/install.sh | sh installs the same command.
