Mallet

What it does

• Register a customer's vehicle or device and keep every visit in its service history
• Book a bay and a technician, with double bookings refused
• Prepare estimates with parts and labour, with 10% GST shown separately, and record how the customer authorised each line
• Record parts used and labour hours against only the lines the customer authorised
• Approve an invoice and export it once as a saved CSV file for your accounting
• Let an agent prepare estimates, schedules and invoice drafts while a person makes every decision
• Back up, restore and erase an unused asset

What it promises

• WORKSHOP-001Each asset has a unique identifier and keeps its visits; booking refuses overlaps for either the bay or the technician.
• ESTIMATE-001A person approves the exact estimate revision before it is shared, and staff record the customer's name, chosen lines, method and evidence against that revision.
• WORK-001Work can be recorded only against lines and quantities the customer authorised, and staff members record only their own assigned jobs.
• INVOICE-001An invoice freezes the authorised prices and actual quantities, a person approves it, and repeated export returns the same saved file rather than a new one.
• AGENT-001An agent key expires and can be revoked; it can only prepare estimates, revisions, schedules and invoice drafts, never approve, share, authorise or export.
• IMPORT-001Moving in from RepairShopr shows a preview that writes nothing, applies only the exact reviewed version, keeps the originals and can be undone for untouched records.
• DATA-001Backups restore only into an empty installation, and only the owner can erase an unused asset; assets with visits are kept.
• PIER-001The optional stock catalogue link is read-only; Mallet never reserves, changes or orders stock.

Install the command once, then clone a product and start it.
