Larder

What it does

• Show on hand, reserved, quarantine, expected and available-to-promise stock for every item
• Reserve stock for confirmed orders so two orders can never take the same stock
• Work out shortages and draft purchase orders or work orders
• Receive purchases in part, with supplier lots and a quarantine hold
• Record production with materials used, scrap and cost variance
• Pick, pack and ship part of an order
• Prepare a CSV handoff of stock movements for your accountant and check it against their references
• Bring in items, BOMs, stock and orders from Odoo

What it promises

• LARDER-003Releasing work pins the bill of materials version in force; a later revision does not change work already released.
• LARDER-005Confirming or reserving takes only available stock, and a retried command returns its first outcome rather than doing it twice.
• LARDER-007A buyer or manager approves a purchase order with its exact terms and cash exposure recorded.
• LARDER-008Over-receipt is refused, and held stock stays in quarantine until a recorded release or rejection decision.
• LARDER-011A count by one person needs another person's approval before stock is adjusted, and reversals are refused while later work depends on the stock.
• LARDER-012Accountant handoff batches are fixed once prepared, download as CSV, and show mismatches until corrected; Larder never posts journals.
• LARDER-013The owner can export a complete archive with a checksum and restore it into an empty installation, with every stock position checked against the archive.
• Larder starts empty with no sample data, and an agent can only prepare work that a person with authority approves.
• Larder does not file tax, run payroll, post journals or claim regulated traceability.

Run it yourself

Install the command once, then clone a product and start it.
