Inkwell

What it does

• Upload a PDF (up to 2 MiB) and place signature, text and date fields for one to five signers in order
• Approve the envelope yourself before the first signer is invited
• Have each signer verify an email code, give consent and sign in turn
• Download the signed PDF, a certificate, the audit record and a handoff manifest, and re-check their fingerprints
• Void an unfinished envelope with a recorded reason
• Let an assistant prepare an envelope for a person to review and approve
• Import a DocuSeal archive with a preview, journal and undo
• Back up and restore your documents, and permanently erase an envelope

What it promises

• Preparing an envelope sends nothing; only a signed-in person's approval sends the first invitation.
• Signing needs a verified email code, explicit consent and the current, unchanged version of the document, and the next signer is invited only after the previous signature is recorded.
• An assistant token can prepare an envelope but cannot approve or sign.
• The original PDF is never altered, and the certificate records the real email-code check, consent and signing order.
• Imported signatures keep their original provider provenance; Inkwell never invents historical verification.
• Inkwell does not apply qualified cryptographic signatures, does not do identity checks or notarisation, and gives no legal advice about whether e-signing suits a document.
• After an envelope is erased, an older backup cannot restore it when the newer backup is supplied as the erasure record.

Install the command once, then clone a product and start it.
