Gasket
Alternative to MaintainX
Asset register, preventive schedules and work orders for your equipment.

Gasket keeps the equipment a small team owns in service. It holds an asset register, preventive maintenance schedules, assigned work orders, inspections, parts and downtime, and a supervisor's review. It records what people did and never certifies equipment as safe.
What it does
- Keep one register of assets with tags, locations, custodians and meters
- Schedule preventive work by calendar or by meter reading
- Create due work orders and assign them to maintainers
- Capture checklist results, photos, readings, parts used and downtime
- Have a supervisor approve or return finished work
- Track the parts list and reconcile physical counts
- See overdue work, assets down now, downtime and low stock
- Download an asset's full history as CSV
- Let an agent propose schedules and work orders for a person to approve
What it promises
- HTTP-001A new installation starts empty, with no sample assets, parts or schedules.
- 2Editing an asset keeps its earlier values, and retiring one keeps all of its history.
- 4A work order keeps the checklist revision it was created with, so later changes never alter issued work.
- 7A meter reading lower than the asset's latest earlier reading is refused.
- 3Part stock never goes below zero, and a physical count records the exact difference without rewriting history.
- 9Nobody approves a work order they did the work on, and a supervisor approves the exact version they reviewed.
- 11Ending someone's access ends their sessions at once.
- 12A MaintainX move-in shows a dry run first, applies only what was reviewed, and can be undone.
- 13An agent can only prepare proposals; a person approves them.
