Coffer

What it does

• Move in a year of gifts from saved Stripe pages, with a preview and undo
• Show each donor's gifts by year, pledges, consent history, letters and appeals
• Record gifts by hand and correct mistakes with a matching reversal
• Record each donor's consent for email or postal mail with evidence
• Prepare acknowledgement letters in your own wording, approve them, export them for printing or mail merge and record when they were sent
• Build appeal audiences that include only donors who currently consent, and refuse to export if consent changes
• Let an assistant prepare letters and appeals for a person to approve
• Back up, restore and erase a donor

What it promises

• HTTP-001Every request checks the person's role, and a revoked sign-in or key stops working even for a request already in progress.
• GIFT-001Gifts are exact-cent ledger lines that cannot be edited; a correction is a matching opposite line, once per gift.
• CONSENT-001Consent is kept as a history per donor and channel, with method, evidence and who recorded it; the newest answer counts.
• ACK-001Gifts at or over your acknowledgement threshold are due a letter within your target days, and no letter is prepared until a person has saved your letter wording; Coffer never sends mail.
• APPEAL-001An appeal audience includes only donors whose latest consent for that channel is yes, and approval and export are refused if any of that consent has since changed.
• AGENT-001An assistant's key expires, can be revoked, and can only prepare letters and appeals; approvals record who prepared and who approved the exact content.
• IMPORT-001Stripe imports are previewed, applied only as reviewed, journalled with the original pages and can be undone; failed, refunded, non-US-dollar and duplicate charges are skipped with reasons.
• DATA-001Erasing a donor removes their personal details, consent evidence and letter text, keeps gift amounts as anonymous ledger lines, and stops them returning from a later import or an older backup.

Install the command once, then clone a product and start it.
