Holiday rental operations
Calendar imports, cleaner photo checklists and owner statements.
Cabin is holiday-rental operations for an Australian host or manager with 3 to 40 short-stay properties. It brings in booking calendars, runs cleaner photo checklists and produces approved monthly owner statements.
What it does
- Manage properties, owners, commission and team access
- Import Airbnb and Booking.com calendar files, show clashes and how fresh each calendar is, and approve each change
- Assign a cleaner to a turnover and have them tick every checklist item and upload a photo
- Prepare a monthly owner statement in AUD, approve it and download it as a CSV
- Import a property register from a CSV, with a preview and undo
- Let an assistant prepare calendar, turnover and statement drafts for people to approve
- Back up and restore records and photos, and erase a property's personal data
What it promises
- Only the owner grants access; managers approve exact drafts, and cleaners see only the jobs assigned to them.
- Calendar changes are never adopted silently: edits, cancellations and removals each need a fresh human approval.
- Cabin does not prevent double bookings, and calendar files can lag, so check the source.
- Statements are frozen in exact whole AUD cents at approval, and Cabin never moves money or does trust accounting.
- An assistant can only prepare drafts; each approval records who approved and exactly which version.
- Property imports are previewed, journalled and can be undone without losing edits you made since.
- Backups leave out sign-in details and credentials, and after an erasure an older backup cannot restore the erased data when a later backup is supplied.
Move in from
- Property register (CSV in Cabin's documented format)
- Airbnb calendar (.ics)
- Booking.com calendar (.ics)
