Buoy

What it does

• Record each account's confirmed renewal date, notice days and contract reference
• Show account health from billing and support snapshots, with missing or stale evidence clearly labelled
• Prepare an at-risk playbook action, have an owner or admin approve it, and record completion with evidence
• Prepare and approve a renewal outcome (renewed, churned or deferred) with a reason and evidence
• Import accounts, billing and support snapshots from a documented JSON format with a preview and undo
• Let an assistant prepare playbooks and renewal proposals for people to approve
• Back up, restore and erase an account

What it promises

• HTTP-001Every request checks the current sign-in, role and origin; assistant access is limited to reading and preparing.
• DATA-001Invoice balances cannot go negative, dates and observations are checked, and missing or stale evidence stays visible.
• APPROVAL-001A proposal captures the account as it was; approval records who approved and when, and is checked against that same version.
• APPROVAL-001Completing an action needs separate evidence, and refreshing the source data leaves earlier decisions untouched.
• IMPORT-001An import is applied only against the data you reviewed, is journalled, and undo is refused for accounts that were edited or have dependent work.
• ERASE-001Erasing an account removes its work, decisions and imported copies together, and stops it being re-imported in that installation; copies you exported or hold elsewhere are outside this.
• RESTORE-001A backup restores into an empty installation with a new sign-in; damaged backups and non-empty destinations are refused.
• Buoy sends no messages, collects no billing and makes no churn predictions.
