Barrow

What it does

• Set up trade accounts with private prices, minimum orders and payment terms
• Invite customers to sign in and see only their own catalogue against live stock
• Let customers prepare and submit orders with their own purchase order reference
• Review and approve orders so the stock system reserves the items
• Export an invoice CSV once an order is fully reserved, with the agreed prices and terms
• Let an assistant read a catalogue and prepare order drafts for people to submit and approve
• Back up and restore your data, and erase an unused trade account

What it promises

• BAR-001Every request checks who is signed in; supplier actions need an owner or admin, and customers can reach only their own account.
• BAR-002Orders keep a snapshot of the agreed prices and terms and the identity of whoever approved them; stock is reserved once, in the separate stock system.
• BAR-002An invoice export is offered only when every ordered unit is reserved; a shortfall is shown plainly.
• BAR-002Amounts are exact whole AUD cents; Barrow calculates no tax and moves no money.
• BAR-003Assistant access is revocable, lasts seven days, and can only read catalogues and prepare drafts; people submit and approve, and cannot be replaced by an assistant.
• BAR-004Importing a trade-account list is previewed first, kept in a journal with the original file, and can be undone without discarding later edits or accounts that already have orders.
• BAR-005Backups restore your commercial records but leave out sign-in details and connection secrets; erasing an unused account also blocks an older backup from bringing it back.
